Oooh yeah. That’s a mini chocolate pudding pie baked into a red velvet cupcake. It’s topped with a swirl of cream cheese and chocolate buttercream. They were easy to put together. For the cupcake, I used Paula Deen’s Red Velvet Cupcakes recipe (as I don’t have my own red velvet recipe), and just made chocolate pudding pies the same way I did with the banana pudding pies (except, you know, I used chocolate pudding—that recipe is here). The frosting is my usual buttercream (2 sticks butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla), with 8 oz of cream cheese added. Then half was mixed with some cocoa powder to get the swirled look. Très romantique!
