Summer has finally come to Seattle! It took awhile for all the rain and clouds to clear away, but today was nearly 80 degrees (which is high for Seattle), and I celebrated with some lemon bar-stuffed vanilla cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting and a strawberry. SO GOOD! And! I will be making these cupcakes again for a very special bake sale, happening next Saturday, July 14th, at the CakeSpy Shop in Seattle. All proceeds go to the families of the victims the May 30 shooting at Cafe Racer. Find out more here.
