Seattle! I am very happy to announce my official cookbook release party! I hope that you can join me at Elliott Bay Book Company (1521 10th Ave on Capitol Hill) on Thursday, October 4th, at 5 pm to celebrate the release of Bake It in a Cupcake: 50 Treats With a Surprise Inside.

It was two years ago TODAY the blog was officially born. Since then the website has had well over one million visitors, and I’ve shared dozens of recipes. The best part: in one month I’ll release my very first cookbook. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT! ♥

Your brownie-loving dreams have come true—a rich, gooey brownie is baked into the center of a vanilla cupcake and topped with heap of cookies and cream frosting. There’s the moist brownie, the crunchy cookie crumbs, the creamy frosting… it tastes amazing.

It is officially PEACH SEASON! Obviously, I had to bake some peaches into a cupcake. I just diced up some fresh peaches, tossed them with a little cinnamon, and spooned the mixture into the cupcakes. SO GOOD. And while these are topped with cinnamon buttercream, you could also serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
