Here’s another recipe from my new cookbook, Bake it in a Cupcake: 50 Treats With a Surprise Inside! These macaroon-filled brownie cupcakes with chocolate ganache and toasted almonds are like an Almond Joy, but much, much fancier. (And super simple to make!)

Here’s the recipe!

Here’s something that’s both spooky and sweet: Franken Berry cupcakes! Since they include cereal, these cupcakes count as breakfast, right?

Are you hoping to make my famous pumpkin pie-stuffed cupcakes this season? The recipe is in my new cookbook, Bake it in a Cupcake: 50 Treats With a Surprise Inside, out now on Andrews McMeel Publishing. You can buy it at you local bookstore as well as Amazon.comBarnes & NobleIndiebound.com, and Elliott Bay Book Company (Seattle).

While it’s nearly impossible for me to answer the oft-asked question, “Which cupcake is your favorite?” the cherry pie-stuffed chocolate cupcakes, the first pie-stuffed cupcakes I ever baked, are most certainly in my top five. Miniature cherry pies overflowing with slightly tart cherry filling, nestled in a rich chocolate cupcake topped with vanilla bean buttercream? I can’t imagine ever wanting anything more from a cupcake. Get the recipe here!

Okay, are the bloody brain cupcakes a little too gross for you? (It’s okay, you’re not a zombie, I understand.) Maybe these Halloween Oreo-filled brownies with Junior Mint buttercream would be a better treat for the season!

Here’s the recipe.

Want to make some really gross (but delicious!) cupcakes for Halloween? These Bloody Brain-Filled Cupcakes are both a trick and a treat! The recipe is in my new cookbook, Bake it in a Cupcake: 50 Treats With a Surprise Inside! You can find it at your favorite local bookstore and Amazon.comBarnes & NobleIndiebound.com, and Elliott Bay Book Company (Seattle).

Look who’s on HelloGiggles.com today! It’s me! It’s me! I made some Cheesecake-Stuffed Red Velvet cupcakes for the website, and (of course) topped them with their totally adorable giggling logo. Not only are the cupcakes cute and delicious, but they’re also vegan! Get the recipe at HelloGiggles.com.

My cookbook, Bake it in a Cupcake: 50 Treats With a Surprise Inside, will be out in exactly one week! I AM SO EXCITED! To celebrate (and because I’m impatient and want you to have it now), I’m giving away a copy! One lucky, sugar-loving reader will receive a copy of the new book (I’ll even sign it if you want!), along with some adorable cupcake-making supplies including some of my favorite cupcake wrappers, sprinkles, cupcake toppers, and a few more surprises.

It’s really easy to enter, too. Just leave a comment on this post, telling me what you have baked or would like to bake into a cupcake. Mini pumpkin pies? Gummy bears? BBQ pork? No rules! Get crazy! Or don’t. No judgment.

I’ll randomly pick one winner on Monday, October 1, to receive the prize pack.

If you aren’t feeling lucky, you can also pre-order a copy (or several—they make good gifts!) at Amazon.comBarnes & NobleIndiebound.comPowells.com (Portland), and Elliott Bay Book Company (Seattle). Find it in stores Oct 2.

Good luck!
